Every Day People, Extraordinary Heroes

Like any good campaign you must have focus and goals to achieve the objectives one is seeking. The best campaigns are always funded well. Our aim is to make this campaign one of the best, if not the best non-violence and respect campaign Jackson, Tennessee has ever seen. In saying that lets take a look at how your dollars will be used.

 (1) We will produce a series of Television Commercials that will run on all local Television and Cable Stations.

(2) We will have the same commercials on radio as well.

(3)  The Arts Violence Prevention Program, as a part of the Stay out  of Jail Campaign,  targets youth at risk of participation in violence-related activities and assists them with redirecting their energies, managing their emotions and controlling their persons through art therapy in a week-long intensive mini camp and on-going monthly activities meetings. In addition to developing anti-violence coping skills, the program is also designed to broaden the horizons, and explore and hone any arts-related talents and abilities of the participants through exposure to the various art media.

 (4) The West Tennessee Cultural Heritage Association also has plans for the return of “Family Day.” We feel every good message to youth starts with the family and the home environment. August 20, 2005.

This is how your money will be used. It will pay for the television commercials to be produced, the talent if necessary, the administrative cost of the camp, speaking engagements in various locations throughout the city, and finally Family Day. This is intended to be a very high profile campaign to get the biggest impact as possible.

Making a small seed investment into our youth of today will privy us to a harvest of young adults we all can be proud of tomorrow.  Your donation of $50 or more will be much appreciated.

The West Tennessee Cultural Heritage Association mission for 2005 is to be a leader in educating and encouraging our youth towards positive behavior in our community.  There is no better way to say we believe in our youth than to be involved with our time, money, and resources.  Just giving one of these things is not enough.  Our youth of today need and deserve it all in this ever changing society.  We can’t give it all without your help.  Please join the West Tennessee Cultural Heritage in its all out effort to make a difference in this community!!!

Remember:  “IF EVERYONE GIVES, EVERYONE GAINS!!!”
